So...once again, Regina Wamba, of Mae I Design, has taken over my life. Her beautiful art has inspired an entire story, which I'm already engrossed in writing! #Reginaismymuse. I can't wait to share this one with you all!
BLURB: Through space and time, sisters entwined. Lost then found, souls remain bound.

Flames licked the hem of my dress as I worked to free my hands from the ropes. Somber faces, etched with malice or fear, looked on as I squirmed against the stake. I refused to close my eyes or scream. I wouldn't give them that. No. I would prove to be as defiant and wild as they deemed me while dragging me from my home.
Kara and Kenna stood hidden at the back of the crowd, silently pleading for me to use my magic to escape. I wanted to, oh how I wanted to, just to see these purists running for the hills. But staring into my sister’s eyes as my legs started to burn, I knew I had to do whatever it took to keep them safe.
I closed my eyes, the chant beginning simple as always, words from the Goddess flowing into my mind. “Come to me, death that be, flames surrounds, peace abounds; flesh to earth, spirit to soar, transport our souls, alive forever more.”
